The Changan Deepal S07 (from Changan Automobile’s premium NEV brand Deepal) is one of those cars blending futuristic tech, bold design, and surprisingly flexible powertrain options that could appeal strongly to UK drivers looking beyond mainstream EVs.
This isn’t just another electric crossover. It’s a statement piece with tech ambitions that rival premium European rivals… often at a much lower expected price.

The Deepal S07 sits in the mid-size SUV category, roughly competing with the Tesla Model Y, Skoda Enyaq, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
