Hyundai Tucson 2015–2020: How to Change a Burned-Out Cornering Light (H7 Bulb)
If you own a Hyundai Tucson from 2015 to 2020, you may eventually notice that one of your cornering lights has stopped working. Unlike many other lighting systems, the Tucson does not display a dashboard warning when the cornering light burns out—so the problem often goes unnoticed until driving at night or during turns.
In this article, I’ll show you how to change the cornering light bulb, where it’s located, and which long-life H7 bulb I recommend for the best performance and durability. I’ve also included a short step-by-step video below if you prefer visual instructions.
What Is the Cornering Light on Hyundai Tucson?
The cornering light activates automatically when:
You turn the steering wheel at low speed
You use the turn signal
You drive at night with headlights on
Its purpose is to illuminate the side of the road, improving visibility when turning or maneuvering in dark areas.
