 Why You Might Need to Compress a Brake Caliper Piston

When replacing brake pads or discs, the caliper piston must be pushed back into the caliper housing. Without compressing it correctly, you cannot fit the new brake pads, and forcing it can damage the caliper.

In this video, I demonstrate five practical ways to compress the piston using tools you likely already have at home.
