Škoda Enyaq (2025‑present) – Complete Overview

 The 2025 version of the Škoda Enyaq is a refreshed and improved iteration of the Czech carmaker’s all‑electric SUV, offering a combination of practicality, new design language (“Modern Solid”), improved aerodynamics and updated battery/motor options.

Powertrain & Motor Options

Since the Enyaq is a fully electric vehicle (EV) for the 2025‑present model, there are no petrol engines in the main Enyaq range (so no petrol consumption figures to speak of). Instead, here are the key electric motor/battery setups:

  • The “Enyaq 60” version (entry‑level) uses a permanent‑magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle, providing 150 kW (≈204 hp) for the RWD variant.

  • The “Enyaq 85” uses a larger battery and also the same type of motor (rear‑wheel drive) rated at about 210 kW (≈286 hp).

  • The “Enyaq 85x” adds a dual‑motor setup (one at rear + one at front) for all‑wheel drive. The combined system output remains in the neighbourhood of 210 kW, but with added traction and stability.

  • The sportier “vRS” variant uplifts performance even further: two motors, 250 kW system power, and 0–62 mph in ~5.4 seconds.

From the spec sheet:

  • Motor type: permanent‑magnet synchronous motor (rear) and for the AWD models an asynchronous motor front + synchronous rear.

  • Single‑speed transmission. Wheel drive: rear or four‑wheel depending on version.


Battery, Range & Consumption

Battery sizes

  • The Enyaq 60 uses a gross battery capacity of ~63 kWh with a usable (net) capacity around ~59 kWh.

  • The Enyaq 85 uses a gross ~82 kWh pack (usable ~77 kWh).

  • The 85x and sport variants may use slightly larger packs (depending on market) but for the 2025 model the above two are widely referenced.

Range (WLTP)

  • For the Enyaq 60: up to ~268 miles (WLTP) for the SUV version.

  • For the Enyaq 85: up to ~359 miles (WLTP) (SUV version) with the larger battery.

  • For the AWD 85x: up to ~332 miles (WLTP) for the SUV version.

  • Real‑world testing suggests the Enyaq 85 (~77kWh) uses ~275 Wh/mile (≈171 Wh/km) on combined driving.

Energy Consumption

Rather than petrol litres/100km, the figures are given in miles per kWh (for example):

  • The Enyaq 60: 3.8‑4.0 miles/kWh (≈16‑17 kWh/100 km).

  • The Enyaq 85: 4.0‑4.1 miles/kWh (≈15‑16 kWh/100 km).

  • For the 85x (AWD): 3.7‑3.8 miles/kWh (≈17‑18 kWh/100 km) because AWD draws more energy.

Charging & other specs

  • AC charging: up to 11 kW onboard charger (depending on spec).

  • DC (rapid) charging: for example the Enyaq 85 supports up to ~135 kW (10–80% in ~28 minutes).

  • Drag coefficient: the 2025 refresh improved aerodynamics — Cd ~0.245 for the SUV.


Dimensions, Boot & Practicality

  • External dimensions (SUV version): Length ~4,658 mm, Width ~1,879 mm, Height ~1,622 mm; wheelbase ~2,766 mm.

  • Boot capacity: 585 litres (with rear seats upright).

  • Enyaq 85: 0‑62 mph ~6.7 seconds. Top speed ~180 km/h (≈111 mph).

  • Enyaq vRS: 0‑62 mph ~5.4 seconds.


Highlights & Other Features

  • The 2025 model introduces a new front‑end design, improved aerodynamics, more efficient battery/motor management, and improved charging.

  • Inside, there’s a large infotainment touchscreen (13″), modern driver‑assist features, optional augmented‑reality head‑up display.
